Because of the passion for sailing,
Rudi Gamberoni started to organize sailing trips for friends and
family.
Yachts were chartered to explore
the most secluded sailing destinations. The Mediterranean, south
sea, Asia, and the Caribbean, especially Cuba, the Antilles, and
Venezuela were favorite destinations.
What started as a hobby has by now
turned into a small business. In 1996, with the purchase of the
catamaran African Queen, we took our first step into professional
charter business.
African Queen is being sailed from
Cuba, over the Antilles and Venezuela to Cartagena de Indias and San Blas
Islands in Panama. This catamaran can be chartered from various starting points. Since
1999, with the addition of brother Georg ("Giorgio") as skipper and
organizer of Cartagena Yachting, the business selected Cartagena as base
to offer crewed charters in this part of the Caribbean.
Our primary goal is to offer
excellent service on well maintained yachts for our guests to experience a
vacation of a lifetime. After all, a successful charter is our best
advertisement. |
